This experience combines to Florence’s highlights, along with the city’s crown jewel: Michelangelo’s David.
We will be walking among the most important monuments of the center of the city:
the magnificent Cathedral, “il Duomo”, crowned with Brunelleschi’s glorious dome, the Baptistry and Giotto’s Bell Tower. The tour will lead us further on to Piazza Signoria, the political center of the city with the prominent government building Palazzo Vecchio.
With its many original sculptures this square is also a true open- air museum, unique of its kind. We will then continue towards the legendary Old Bridge, full of beautiful goldsmiths shops and the loggia of the New Market, where, with a little bit of luck and the help of the bronze boar you might ensure your return to Florence in the near future. In the end, we will explore picturesque narrow streets of the old medival district.
During the walking tour all the monuments will be visited only from the outside, apart from when we venture in to see the David.
