What We’ll DO

Avoid the standard group tour and immerse yourself in the Colosseum’s 2,000-year history with this special access Ancient Rome experience.

You’ll skip the long ticket lines and walk in the same steps of gladiators, emperors, and doomed prisoners. Bloodthirsty Romans gathered in the in this ancient stadium to watch deadly sports and executions, and your licensed guide will explain every gory detail.

You’ll spend about 90 minutes exploring the Colosseum with special access onto the arena floor where gladiators fought, while also allowing you free time for photos and self-exploration.

Following the Colosseum, you’ll make our way to the Roman Forum (Ancient City) and Palatine Hill (Cesar’s Palace) where you’ll again enjoy special access to secret passages used by the Emperor, and not open to the general public.

Surrounded by picturesque ruins you’ll visit ancient palaces, temples, tombs, the House of the Vestal Virgins, and the Senate house before finishing the tour at the tomb of Julius Cesare.

This tour concludes in the center of Rome’s ancient ruins, which are also conveniently located in modern Rome’s city center; leaving easy access to local restaurants, cafes, and shopping.

NOTE: We skip the long ticket lines, but must pass through security, generally a 5-10 minute wait.
